About Paragonum.
The firm
Most of the value in a mid-size company is created or lost in operations: in what it charges, what it sells, how it is run and who runs it.
Paragonum works on that layer, in businesses that are performing below their potential, changing hands, or moving from their founders to professional management.
Engagements take the form of advisory work, interim leadership or board roles, shaped to the situation.
Managing partner
Ivan Sharov
Ivan Sharov has spent fifteen years leading businesses in financial services, software and insurance across eight markets, most often taking over companies that were underperforming or moving on from their founders. Two of those businesses were sold under his leadership. He currently leads a European banking-infrastructure platform, lectures on strategy and operations at ISDI Business School in Madrid, and writes on turnarounds, growth and building teams.
